Spanish Man Charged With Infecting 22 People With COVID-19
MADRID—A Spanish man with COVID-19 symptoms who coughed on work colleagues and told them “I’m going to give you all the coronavirus” has been charged with intentionally causing injury after allegedly infecting 22 people. Spanish police said their investigation began after a COVID-19 outbreak at the company where the 40-year-old man worked on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca. Days before the outbreak, the man showed COVID-19 symptoms but refused his colleagues’ suggestions to go home and self-isolate, police said in a statement. After work, and showing no improvement, he went for a PCR test before visiting a gym and returning to work the next day. Though his superiors told him to go home after he allegedly had showed a temperature of 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees F), the man refused. He walked around his workplace, lowering his face mask and coughing on people, saying “I’m going to infect you all …
You’re no safer from COVID-19 social distancing at 6 or 60 feet, study says
Social distancing inside at 60 feet is no safer than at 6 feet — and “exposure time” indoors is actually far more important, according to a new study from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
In a report that challenges widely accepted COVID-19 prevention guidelines, researchers say there’s “little benefit” to health officials’ “6-foot rule” especially when wearing masks inside.
“The distancing isn’t helping you that much and it’s also giving you a false sense of security because you’re as safe at 6 feet as you are at 60 feet if you’re indoors,” MIT engineering professor Martin Bazant, who authored the study, told CNBC.
‘TRUTH’ With RFK, Jr. and Dr. Joseph Mercola: The Shadowy Alliance Between Big Pharma and Big Tech
In the latest episode of “TRUTH” with Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Kennedy interviews Dr. Joseph Mercola on the fear-driven COVID-19 narrative, ongoing efforts to resist government restrictions and the loss of freedom seen around the world.
Highlights from their wide-ranging discussion include:
- Notes about the soon-to-be-released book “The Truth About COVID-19,” by Mercola and Ronnie Cummins. Kennedy, who wrote the forward to the book, says the pandemic is being used to shift wealth upwards, abolish civil rights and destroy democracy. The official release of the book is April 29.
- The massive effort from the get-go to sell the idea that the only possible way to control COVID was through masks and lockdowns.
- How the public was largely conditioned to believe the world needed to wait on a vaccine for any meaningful intervention against COVID.
- How government officials and the media suppressed information about potential treatments such as hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin.
- How personal data collected by Google over the past nearly two decades is being used to manipulate public behavior.
- How Google searches steer people away from anything that goes against Pharma’s narrative including natural health, chiropractors and nutrition.
All “Truth” episodes can be found on Children’s Health Defense’s social media, and on Children’s Health Defense’s channel found on Peeps TV, a network on Roku. Roku is accessible from any Smart TV and can be purchased separately for older TVs.

Cuomo’s Office Won’t Reveal What It Told DOJ About CCP Virus Deaths at Nursing Homes
The office of New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo refused to say what it told the Department of Justice regarding CCP virus outbreaks in nursing homes, in part because the disclosure would be an “invasion of personal privacy.” The DOJ sent requests to several states last year concerning statistics on deaths and infection in nursing homes from the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus. The initial request was expanded in December following news reports that the state’s nursing home numbers were significantly undercounted. Cuomo has been cooperating with the DOJ since last year, but his office declined a request from The Associated Press for copies of what was provided to the federal authorities. Notably, the governor had supported releasing the same records earlier this year. “Look, I would have no problem with it,” the governor said in February. “I would have to have the lawyers talk …
Hospitals Overrun as India’s COVID-19 Infections Surge
People across India scrambled for life-saving oxygen supplies on Friday and patients lay dying outside hospitals as the country recorded over 300,000 new COVID-19 cases a day for two days straight. India’s second wave has hit with such ferocity that hospitals are running out of oxygen, beds and anti-viral drugs. Many patients have been turned away […]

Health officials are dropping outdoor mask mandates, following numerous studies

Eleanor Bartow, DCNF
- Several studies have shown a low risk of COVID-19 transmission outdoors, except when there is lengthy interaction with others at a close distance.
- Mask requirements need to be nuanced or some people will ignore the rules, according to a public health expert.
- Several cities have relaxed outdoor mask requirements this month, but many states still require outdoor masks when social distancing cannot be maintained.
It’s time for authorities to reduce outdoor masking requirements and give Americans more credit for understanding the nuances of the risks of outdoor transmission of COVID-19, multiple studies and health experts have said.
Several studies since October have shown a low risk of COVID-19 transmission outdoors, with the exception being lengthy interaction with others at a close distance.

Smithsonian museums, National Zoo announce reopening dates
The Smithsonian Institution announced Friday that about half of its museums, along with the National Zoo, will reopen in May after shuttering in November because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Eight of the Smithsonian’s 19 locations in the Washington, D.C., area will open to the public next month but with COVID-19 restrictions in place. Guests will need to reserve a timed-entry pass, wear face mask and practice social distancing, Smithsonian officials said.
“We have a lot of signage keeping people moving in the right direction,” said Smithsonian COVID Response Coordinator Doug Hall. “All of the things are primarily geared toward social distancing, keeping people separate and of course cleaning at the end.”
New York posts major increases in rape cases, sharply up from last year’s lockdown lows
olice in New York City over the past month have been responding to vastly larger numbers of rape complaints than they were at the same time last year, reporting complaints that in many cases are numbering triple-digit increases over the same period last year.
The spike appears to be a unique artifact of last year’s once-in-a-century lockdowns, which decreased many crime rates across the board but appear to have had a uniquely depressive effect on sexual assault in the city.
From Mar. 15 through Mar. 21 of this year, the New York City Police Department recorded a 94% increase in rape complaints relative to the same time period in 2020. Significantly, that weeklong period in 2020 was one of rapidly growing concern over the emerging COVID-19 pandemic. The week culminated in New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s shutdown of the entire state, suggesting that last year’s sexual assault numbers were likely at least partly lowered by reduced public activity in the leadup to that lockdown.
US drop in vaccine demand has some places turning down doses

“It is kind of stalling. Some people just don’t want it,” said Stacey Hileman, a nurse with the health department in rural Kansas’ Decatur County, where less than a third of the county’s 2,900 residents have received at least one vaccine d
JACKSON, Miss. — Louisiana has stopped asking the federal government for its full allotment of COVID-19 vaccine. About three-quarters of Kansas counties have turned down new shipments of the vaccine at least once over the past month. And in Mississippi, officials asked the federal government to ship vials in smaller packages so they don’t go to waste.
As the supply of coronavirus vaccine doses in the U.S. outpaces demand, some places around the country are finding there’s such little interest in the shots, they need to turn down shipments.

Indian hospitals plead for oxygen as country sets daily coronavirus record
NEW DELHI — India put oxygen tankers on special express trains as major hospitals in New Delhi begged on social media on Friday for more supplies to save COVID-19 patients who are struggling to breathe. More than a dozen people died when an oxygen-fed fire ripped through a coronavirus ward in a populous western state.
India’s underfunded health system is tattering as the world’s worst coronavirus surge wears out the nation, which set a global record in daily infections for a second straight day with 332,730.
India has confirmed 16 million cases so far, second only to the United States in a country of nearly 1.4 billion people. India has recorded 2,263 deaths in the past 24 hours for a total of 186,920.
The fire in a hospital intensive care unit killed 13 COVID-19 patients in the Virar area on the outskirts of Mumbai early Friday.
The situation is worsening by the day with hospitals taking to social media to plead with the government to replenish their oxygen supplies and threatening to stop admissions of new patients.
A major private hospital chain in the capital, Max Hospital, tweeted that one of its facilities had one hour’s oxygen supply in its system and had been waiting for replenishment since early morning. Two days earlier, they had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court saying they were running out of oxygen, endangering the lives of 400 patients, of which 262 were being treated for COVID-19. . .

WHY WE QUARANTINE
Our friends and family are at risk. Both young and old. This is a respiratory disease that appears to be more contagious than the common flu. As such, even if you experience no symptoms, you are at risk of endangering the innocent in our society including those that have lived exemplary lives in service to us all. Most of our veterans are in the vulnerable population, as well as our parents and grandparents. This is why we are trying to stop the spread. Even if the overall death rate is lower than we currently believe, we know the rate of fatality amongst the most vulnerable in our society is still very high.
THE VULNERABLE
The vulnerable are the elderly with underlying health conditions, as well as the general population with conditions like heart disease, respiratory illnesses, liver disease and diabetes. The hope is that this will be temporary and as short as possible.
