SARS-CoV-2 Spike Protein Impairs Endothelial Function via Downregulation of ACE 2 | Salk Institute
SARS-CoV-2 (severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2) infection relies on the binding of S protein (Spike glycoprotein) to ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) 2 in the host cells. Vascular endothelium can be infected by SARS-CoV-2,1 which triggers mitochondrial reactive oxygen species production and glycolytic shift.2 Paradoxically, ACE2 is protective in the cardiovascular system, and SARS-CoV-1 S protein promotes lung injury by decreasing the level of ACE2 in the infected lungs.3 In the current study, we show that S protein alone can damage vascular endothelial cells (ECs) by downregulating ACE2 and consequently inhibiting mitochondrial function. . .
Attempt to ban vaccine passports in Arizona fails
A legislative effort to ban vaccine passports and punish businesses that require proof of COVID-19 inoculations narrowly failed in Arizona.
The Senate called House Bill 2190 for a vote Thursday, even though a couple of Republicans were missing from what was expected to be a party-line vote.
Should it have succeeded, the measure would have banned government entities, businesses, ticket venues and others from either discriminating against unvaccinated people or offering special benefits to those based on vaccination status.
Individuals breaking the law faced felony charges. Businesses that defied the law would have seen any state-issued business licenses suspended.
The bill exempted much of the health care industry from the requirements.
Gov. Doug Ducey banned public entities from requiring any proof of vaccination via an executive order he signed in April.
With a couple of absent Republicans, the party needed every member of their caucus to support the bill. . . .
BUSTED: CDC Caught Manipulating Data to Hide New COVID Cases Among those Who Were Already Vaxxed

Chile has one of the world’s most ambitious and successful coronavirus vaccination schemes. One-third of the population has received either one or both jabs.
But for some strange reason, Chile is experiencing a surge in Coronavirus cases.
That’s weird?
Two weeks ago, Seychelles announced a new surge in COVID cases despite being the most vaccinated country on Earth.
35% of the new COVID cases were those who were already vaxxed.
This appears to be a trend.
Now the CDC is manipulating data to hide new COVID cases among those who were already vaxxed.
This is a crime.
They are willfully lying to the American public.
And they got caught.
New policies will artificially deflate “breakthrough infections” in the vaccinated, while the old rules continue to inflate case numbers in the unvaccinated.
The Off-Guardian reported:
The US Center for Disease Control (CDC) is altering its practices of data logging and testing for “Covid19” in order to make it seem the experimental gene-therapy “vaccines” are effective at preventing the alleged disease.
They made no secret of this, announcing the policy changes on their website in late April/early May, (though naturally without admitting the fairly obvious motivation behind the change).
The trick is in their reporting of what they call “breakthrough infections” – that is people who are fully “vaccinated” against Sars-Cov-2 infection, but get infected anyway.
Essentially, Covid19 has long been shown – to those willing to pay attention – to be an entirely created pandemic narrative built on two key factors:
- False-postive tests. The unreliable PCR test can be manipulated into reporting a high number of false-positives by altering the cycle threshold (CT value)
- Inflated Case-count. The incredibly broad definition of “Covid case”, used all over the world, lists anyone who receives a positive test as a “Covid19 case”, even if they never experienced any symptoms.
Without these two policies, there would never have been an appreciable pandemic at all, and now the CDC has enacted two policy changes which means they no longer apply to vaccinated people.

200+ scientists, doctors promote vitamin D to ward off Covid-19
Scientific evidence indicates vitamin D reduces infections and deaths. That’s according to more than 200 scientists and doctors. They have issued an open letter addressed to “all governments, public health officials, doctors, and healthcare workers”. Research shows low vitamin D levels almost certainly promote COVID-19 infections, hospitalizations, and deaths. Given its safety, we call for immediate widespread increased vitamin D intakes […]
U.S. Nonprofit with Ties to Wuhan Lab Violated Federal Law by Failing to Disclose Taxpayer Funding, Complaint Alleges
by Andrew Kerr
A U.S. nonprofit with close ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology violated federal law by failing to disclose that taxpayer funds supported its work, according to a complaint a taxpayer watchdog group filed Monday.
EcoHealth Alliance (EHA) diverted $600,000 in taxpayer funds to the WIV in the form of National Institutes of Health subgrants between 2014 and 2019 as part of a research project studying coronaviruses from Chinese bats. But press releases from EHA describing the project failed to disclose that the project was backed by federal dollars, an omission that, according to the White Coat Waste Project, is a violation of a federal law known as the Stevens Amendment.
“Virtually all of EHA’s press releases reporting its taxpayer-funded experiments over the last three years violate the Stevens Amendment,” the White Coat Waste Project wrote in its complaint filed Monday with the National Institutes of Health Office of Management Assessment. “The releases fail to acknowledge federal funding, and/or fail to report the amount of taxpayer money spent, and/or fail to report the percentage of the project paid for with taxpayer funds.”
The Stevens Amendment requires that any group that receives funding from the departments of Labor, Health and Human Services and Education disclose the percentage of costs financed with federal funds and the federal dollar amount in any statements, press releases, bid solicitations and other documents describing a project supported by those agencies, according to the Government Accountability Office.
Approximately 92% of EHA’s revenue in 2018 was from government contracts, the group disclosed in its 2018 financial statements. The bulk of EHA’s funding comes from the Department of Defense, however, the group has received over $14.7 million from the Department of Health and Human Services since 2002.
The White Coat Waste project flagged in its complaint three EHA press releases that touted its work on bat-based coronaviruses in China that did not disclose the percentage or dollar amount of project costs financed with federal dollars. EHA’s work with the WIV studying bat-based coronaviruses was funded with a $3.4 million NIH grant, according to The Wall Street Journal.
While some press releases on EHA’s website do disclose that NIH funded its work, the Daily Caller News Foundation did not locate any that indicated the dollar amount or percentage of costs funded by federal funds.
The White Coat Waste Project’s complaint called on the NIH, an agency within the HHS, “permanently disqualify EHA from receiving taxpayer funding” in light of its alleged transparency violations.
“Taxpayers have a right to know — and federal law requires that we’re told — exactly how much of our money EcoHealth has shipped to the notorious CCP-run Wuhan animal lab for reckless coronavirus experiments that may have caused the pandemic,” White Coat Waste Project spokesman Justin Goodman told the DCNF. “EcoHealth’s rampant violations of federal transparency law are yet another example of the group and its President Peter Daszak obscuring their close ties to — and financial support for — the Wuhan Animal Lab.”
Sen. Joni Ernst told the DCNF that she will demand an investigation into the federal government’s failure to enforce the Stevens Amendment in light of the revelations in the White Coat Waste Project’s letter.
“The federal government is failing to comply with the law and disclose how many American taxpayer dollars go to research labs around the world, like the Wuhan Institute of Virology—a reported and potential origin of the novel coronavirus,” the Iowa Republican said. “The American people deserve answers.”
“I’m demanding an investigation to compel HHS to comply with the law,” Ernst continued. “This isn’t Communist China; the law isn’t optional.”
EHA’s alleged failure to comply with the Stevens Amendment is emblematic of widespread non-enforcement of the law. The Government Accountability Office reported in March 2019 that most subagencies under the departments of Labor, Health and Human Services and Education do not monitor grantees for compliance with the Stevens Amendment.
Ernst issued a letter to HHS Principal Deputy Inspector General Christi Grimm on Thursday urging a thorough review of the department’s enforcement and compliance of the Stevens Amendment.
The WIV’s past work conducting gain-of-function research on bat-based coronaviruses, its proximity to the first known cases of COVID-19 and China’s lack of transparency surrounding the lab has led to widespread speculation that the virus could have entered the human population due to an accidental leak from the institution.
Gain-of-function is a type of research in which scientists intentionally make pathogens more deadly in a lab setting with the intention of getting ahead of any future outbreaks. Critics of the procedure say it’s not worth the risk as it introduces the possibility that a non-natural pathogen could enter into the human population.
The NIH banned funding of gain-of-function research in 2014 due to safety concerns, but the ban was lifted in 2017.
U.S. diplomats wrote two cables to Washington D.C. in 2018 warning of safety issues at WIV. The cables specifically noted that researchers at the lab had discovered new bat-based coronaviruses that could easily infect human, Politico reported. Their warnings went ignored.
Daszak, the EHA president, was the only American member of the World Health Organization’s 2021 team that investigated the origins of COVID-19 in China. Daszak said Wednesday that the WHO team did not ask to review a database of at least 16,000 virus samples that the WIV deleted in September 2019 because he personally vouched for the lab, saying the data did not contain relevant information on the pandemic’s origins.
Daszak’s involvement in the WHO probe has been described as a major conflict of interest due to his financial and professional ties with the WIV. Critics have also noted that Daszak appeared to have made up his mind on the lab leak theory at the onset of the pandemic, having organized a statement in The Lancet medical journal in February 2020 condemning “conspiracy theories” suggesting that COVID-19 does not have a natural origin.
A spokesperson for Daszak later admitted to The Wall Street Journal that Daszak’s letter was intended to protect Chinese scientists from online criticism.
The WHO team announced during a joint press conference with Chinese officials in February that their investigation concluded that it’s “highly unlikely” that COVID-19 could have accidentally leaked from a Chinese lab and that the theory was not worth further investigation.
WHO Director-General Tedros Ghebreyesus walked back the announcement just days later, saying that all theories on the origins of the pandemic, including the lab leak hypothesis, “remain open and require further study.”
The WHO scrapped earlier plans to release an interim report on its investigation in China amid growing scientific concerns over the legitimacy of its investigation. The team said on March 4 that it plans to release a full report on its findings “in coming weeks.”
EHA did not immediately return a request for comment.

Dr. Fauci Backed Controversial Wuhan Lab with U.S. Dollars for Risky Coronavirus Research
Dr. Anthony Fauci is an adviser to President Donald Trump and something of an American folk hero for his steady, calm leadership during the pandemic crisis. At least one poll shows that Americans trust Fauci more than Trump on the coronavirus pandemic—and few scientists are portrayed on TV by Brad Pitt.
But just last year, the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses.
In 2019, with the backing of NIAID, the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million.

Many scientists have criticized gain of function research, which involves manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans, because it creates a risk of starting a pandemic from accidental release.
SARS-CoV-2 , the virus now causing a global pandemic, is believed to have originated in bats. U.S. intelligence, after originally asserting that the coronavirus had occurred naturally, conceded last month that the pandemic may have originated in a leak from the Wuhan lab. (At this point most scientists say it’s possible—but not likely—that the pandemic virus was engineered or manipulated.) . . .
No One Can Find The Animal That Gave People Covid-19
A wild-animal trader who caught a strange new virus from a frozen pangolin. A lab worker studying bat viruses who slipped up and sniffed the air under her biosafety hood. A man who suddenly fell ill after collecting bat guano from a cave to use for fertilizer.
Were any of these scenarios what touched off the covid-19 pandemic?
That is the question facing a joint international research team appointed by China and the World Health Organization that is now searching for the source of covid-19. What the researchers know so far is that a coronavirus very similar to some found in horseshoe bats made the jump into humans, appeared in the Chinese city of Wuhan by December 2019, and from there ignited the biggest health calamity of the 21st century.
We also know they haven’t found the critical detail: if it was in fact a virus with an origin in horseshoe bats, how did it make its way into humans from creatures living hundreds of miles away in remote caves?
An 300-page report from the group is expected soon. It is intended to summarize everything that’s known about the early days of the outbreak and the Chinese effort to locate its source, and it’s likely to forward a favored hypothesis: that the virus, SARS-CoV-2, reached humans from bats via “an intermediate host species,” such as a wild animal sold as a food delicacy in Wuhan’s markets.
That’s a reasonable theory: other bat coronaviruses have jumped to humans the same way. In fact, it was the origin of SARS, a similar coronavirus that panicked the world in 2003 when it spread out of southern China and sickened 8,000 people. With SARS, researchers tested caged market animals and quickly found a nearly identical virus in Himalayan palm civet cats and racoon dogs, which are also eaten locally.
This time, though, the intermediate-host hypothesis has one big problem. More than a year after covid-19 began, no food animal has been identified as a reservoir for the pandemic virus. That’s despite efforts by China to test tens of thousands of animals, including pigs, goats, and geese, according to Liang Wannian, who leads the Chinese side of the research team. No one has found a “direct progenitor” of the virus, he says, and therefore the pandemic “remains an unsolved mystery.”
Politics at play
It’s important to know how the pandemic started, because after killing more than 2.5 million people and causing trillions of dollars in economic losses, it’s not over. The virus may well be establishing itself in new species, like wild rabbits or even house pets. Learning how the pandemic began could help health experts avert the next one, or at least react more swiftly.
We know that the payoffs of origin hunting are real. After the 2003 SARS outbreak, researchers started building up a big knowledge base about this type of virus. That knowledge is what turbocharged the development process for vaccines against the new coronavirus in early 2020. One Chinese company, Sinovac Biotech, actually dusted off a 16-year-old vaccine design it had shelved after the SARS outbreak was contained.
But some fear that all the research into bat viruses may have backfired in a shocking way. These people point to a striking coincidence: the Wuhan Institute of Virology, the world epicenter of research on dangerous SARS-like bat coronaviruses, to which SARS-CoV-2 is related, is in the same city where the pandemic first broke loose. They suspect that covid-19 is the result of an accidental leak from the lab.
“It’s possible they caused a pandemic they were intending to prevent,” says Matthew Pottinger, a former deputy national security advisor at the White House. Pottinger, who was a journalist working in China during the original SARS outbreak, believes it is “very much possible that it did emerge from the laboratory” and that the Chinese government is loath to admit it. Pottinger says that is why Beijing’s joint research with the WHO “is completely insufficient as far as a credible investigation.”

What’s certain is that the research to find the pandemic’s cause is politically charged because of the way it could assign blame for the global disaster. Since last spring, the hunt for the origin of what former president Donald Trump called the “China virus” has been in the crossfire of US-China trade battles and American charges that the WHO has played patsy for Beijing. China, meanwhile, has sought opportunities to spread responsibility. Chinese researchers have found ways to suggest that covid-19 started in Italy or that it arrived in Wuhan on frozen meat. This “cold chain” theory could cast the origin, and the blame, far beyond China’s borders.
One price of the politically charged atmosphere is that an entire year passed before WHO origins investigators got on the ground, arriving in January for a closely chaperoned trip. “It’s a year later, so you have to ask what took so long,’” says Alan Schnur, a former WHO epidemiologist in China who helped track the original SARS outbreak. During that year, memories faded and so did antibodies, possibly erasing key clues. . . .
Data Leak Shows Regulators Had Major Concerns About Pfizer’s mRNA Vaccine
By Serena Tinari
As it conducted its analysis of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine in December, the European Medicines Agency (EMA) was the victim of a cyberattack. More than 40 megabytes of classified information from the agency’s review were published on the dark web, and several journalists — including from The BMJ — and academics worldwide were sent copies of the leaks. They came from anonymous email accounts and most efforts to interact with the senders were unsuccessful. None of the senders revealed their identity, and the EMA says it is pursuing a criminal investigation.
The BMJ has reviewed the documents, which show that regulators had major concerns over unexpectedly low quantities of intact mRNA in batches of the vaccine developed for commercial production.
EMA scientists tasked with ensuring manufacturing quality — the chemistry, manufacturing and control aspects of Pfizer’s submission to the EMA — worried about “truncated and modified mRNA species present in the finished product.” Among the many files leaked to The BMJ, an email dated Nov. 23 by a high ranking EMA official outlined a raft of issues. In short, commercial manufacturing was not producing vaccines to the specifications expected, and regulators were unsure of the implications. EMA responded by filing two “major objections” with Pfizer, along with a host of other questions it wanted addressed.
The email identified “a significant difference in % RNA integrity/truncated species” between the clinical batches and proposed commercial batches — from around 78% to 55%. The root cause was unknown and the impact of this loss of RNA integrity on safety and efficacy of the vaccine was “yet to be defined,” the email said.
Ultimately, on Dec. 21, EMA authorized Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine. The agency’s public assessment report, a technical document published on its website, noted, “the quality of this medicinal product, submitted in the emergency context of the current (COVID-19) pandemic, is considered to be sufficiently consistent and acceptable.
It’s unclear how the agency’s concerns were satisfied. According to one of the leaked emails dated Nov. 25, positive news had come from an undisclosed source in the US: “The latest lots indicate that % intact RNA are back at around 70 – 75%, which leaves us cautiously optimistic that additional data could address the issue,” the email said.
A near miss?
It’s also unclear whether the events in November constitute a near miss in the commercial manufacturing of mRNA vaccines.
EMA says the leaked information was partially doctored, explaining in a statement that “whilst individual emails are authentic, data from different users were selected and aggregated, screenshots from multiple folders and mailboxes have been created, and additional titles were added by the perpetrators.”
But the documents offer the broader medical community a chance to reflect on the complexities of quality assurance for novel mRNA vaccines, which include everything from the quantification and integrity of mRNA and carrier lipids to measuring the distribution of particle sizes and encapsulation efficiency. Of particular concern is RNA instability, one of the most important variables relevant to all mRNA vaccines that has thus far received scant attention in the clinical community. It is an issue relevant not just to Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine but also to those produced by Moderna, CureVac, and others as well as a “second generation” mRNA vaccine being pursued by Imperial College London. . . .
Top Researchers Are Calling For A Real Investigation Into The Origin Of Covid-19

A group of prominent biologists say there needs to be a “safe space” for asking whether the coronavirus came out of a lab.
A year ago, the idea that the covid-19 pandemic could have been caused by a laboratory accident was denounced as a conspiracy theory by the world’s leading journals, scientists, and news organizations. But the origin of the virus that has killed millions remains a mystery, and the chance that it came from a lab has become the theory that cannot be put to rest.
Now, in a letter in the journal Science, 18 prominent biologists—including the world’s foremost coronavirus researcher—are lending their weight to calls for a new investigation of all possible origins of the virus, and calling on China’s laboratories and agencies to “open their records” to independent analysis.
“We must take hypotheses about both natural and laboratory spillovers seriously until we have sufficient data,” the scientists write.

Worse Than the Disease? Reviewing Some Possible Unintended Consequences of the mRNA Vaccines Against COVID-19 | International Journal of Vaccine Theory, Practice, and Research

Abstract
Operation Warp Speed brought to market in the United States two mRNA vaccines, produced by Pfizer and Moderna. Interim data suggested high efficacy for both of these vaccines, which helped legitimize Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) by the FDA. However, the exceptionally rapid movement of these vaccines through controlled trials and into mass deployment raises multiple safety concerns. In this review we first describe the technology underlying these vaccines in detail. We then review both components of and the intended biological response to these vaccines, including production of the spike protein itself, and their potential relationship to a wide range of both acute and long-term induced pathologies, such as blood disorders, neurodegenerative diseases and autoimmune diseases. Among these potential induced pathologies, we discuss the relevance of prion-protein-related amino acid sequences within the spike protein. We also present a brief review of studies supporting the potential for spike protein “shedding”, transmission of the protein from a vaccinated to an unvaccinated person, resulting in symptoms induced in the latter. We finish by addressing a common point of debate, namely, whether or not these vaccines could modify the DNA of those receiving the vaccination. While there are no studies demonstrating definitively that this is happening, we provide a plausible scenario, supported by previously established pathways for transformation and transport of genetic material, whereby injected mRNA could ultimately be incorporated into germ cell DNA for transgenerational transmission. We conclude with our recommendations regarding surveillance that will help to clarify the long-term effects of these experimental drugs and allow us to better assess the true risk/benefit ratio of these novel technologies.

The Novel Coronavirus’ Spike Protein Plays Additional Key Role In Illness
LA JOLLA—Scientists have known for a while that SARS-CoV-2’s distinctive “spike” proteins help the virus infect its host by latching on to healthy cells. Now, a major new study shows that the virus spike proteins (which behave very differently than those safely encoded by vaccines) also play a key role in the disease itself.
The paper, published on April 30, 2021, in Circulation Research, also shows conclusively that COVID-19 is a vascular disease, demonstrating exactly how the SARS-CoV-2 virus damages and attacks the vascular system on a cellular level. The findings help explain COVID-19’s wide variety of seemingly unconnected complications, and could open the door for new research into more effective therapies.

“A lot of people think of it as a respiratory disease, but it’s really a vascular disease,” says Assistant Research Professor Uri Manor, who is co-senior author of the study. “That could explain why some people have strokes, and why some people have issues in other parts of the body. The commonality between them is that they all have vascular underpinnings.”

Love Can Be Real | “Childhood Sweethearts Married for 63 Years Died Within 72 Hours of Each Other”
A British couple, married for 68 years, died within 72 hours of each other after never spending a single day apart. The couple, former beauty queen Brenda and Terrance Studd, said it was love at first sight when they met as 15-year-old teens all the way back in 1953. They married at the young age of 16 and spent nearly seven decades together. The pair never went a day without seeing each other, and only spent a few nights apart when Terrance fell off a bucking horse at the fair and had to stay in hospital. The childhood sweethearts from Loughborough, Leicestershire, died within three days of each other, both aged 83. Great-grandmother Brenda passed away on Sept. 27 last year after contracting COVID-19. Terrance never spoke again after hearing of his wife’s death; he passed away fighting with pancreatic cancer three days later, on Sept. 30. . .
‘Drag Queens in Training’: NYC Department of Education Children’s Show Features 12 Minutes of ‘Lil Miss Hot Mess’ Reading and Dancing
by Mary Margaret Olohan
A children’s show on PBS featured drag queen and author “Little Miss Hot Mess” singing, dancing, and reading a book about drag queens to an intended audience of three to eight year olds.
“Today I’m going to read from my own book, which is ‘The Hips On the Drag Queen Go Swish Swish Swish,’” explained Little Miss Hot Mess, who is reportedly one of the founding members of Drag Queen Story Hour.
“I wrote this book because I wanted everyone to get to experience the magic of drag and to get a little practice shaking their hips or shimmying their shoulders to know how we can feel fabulous inside of our own bodies,” Little Miss Hot Mess said.
The book is intended to be sung along to the tune of the song, “The Wheels On The Bus,” Lil Miss Hot Mess said. It features the drag characters “Frida Bea Me,” “Jaclyn Jill,” “Stinkerbelle,” “Rita Booke,” “Mother Lucy Goosey,” “Cinderfella,” “Pina-Buttah-Gelee,” “Rosie Ringarounda,” and “Ella Menopipi,” and “follows a drag queen who performs her routine in front of an awestruck audience.”

Little Miss Hot Mess read the book to the virtual audience, encouraging viewers to snap their hands, shimmy, twirl, dance, shake their hips and put on makeup, video showed.
“I think we might have some drag queens in training on our hands,” Little Miss Hot Mess said after dancing and singing for the virtual audience.
“Being a drag queen is about being bold, shining bright, and showing a little bit of bravery, being willing to step outside the box and to dance to our own beat sometimes.” the drag queen explained.
The episode is part of the series “Let’s Learn,” a public television series produced in partnership by PBS member station WNET and the New York City Department of Education, WNET spokeswoman Lindsey Horvitz told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The spokeswoman emphasized repeatedly that Let’s Learn is not a PBS series but was made available to PBS stations. The Lil Miss Hot Mess episode first aired March 31, she said, and WNET has received “only a small handful of messages” complaining about the show.
“Let’s Learn helps children ages 3-8 with at-home learning,” a tag on the PBS website said. “One-hour programs feature instruction by educators and virtual field trips.”
According to the New York City Department of Education, Let’s Learn episodes offer “age appropriate content” intended to “serve as a supplemental resource for remote and blended learning.”
New York City DOE did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
“Through lessons taped by educators, the program offers age-appropriate content that is aligned to education standards and lessons for early childhood education, focusing on foundational reading and writing skills, literacy, math, science, social studies and the arts,” the NYC DOE website said. “The series also supports social emotional learning and brings viewers on virtual field trips to see dance performances, meet animals, visit botanical gardens and more.”
Democratic New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Schools Chancellor Richard A. Carranza announced the launch of “Let’s Learn NYC” in May 2020 around the beginning of the pandemic.
“We’re doing everything we can to make this unprecedented situation a little brighter for our youngest New Yorkers,” de Blasio said at the time, according to a press release. “This partnership will bring entertaining educational opportunities directly to homes across New York City.”
Drag Queen Story Hours started out as niche events on the West Coast but have spread to libraries and schools across the U.S. The official Drag Queen Story Hour website boasts over 40 independently operated chapters across the U.S., including in New York City, D.C. and Chicago, as well as international chapters in Tokyo, Australia, Europe, and Mexico.
The events are typically designed to be about 45 minutes long for children aged three to eight years old and intend to capture children’s imagination and help explore their gender fluidity through “glamorous, positive, and unabashedly queer role models,” according to the Drag Queen Story Hour’s official website.
DQSH did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the DCNF.

Why the American People Have Turned Against Biden

Source: AP Photo/Patrick Semansky
You can see it by looking at the forensic audits happening in Arizona, Georgia and New Hampshire. Many more audits are surely on the way.
Americans are finally seriously questioning the results of the 2020 presidential election. The lightbulb has gone off. Americans are no longer afraid to say out loud that they think the election was stolen
That is why the National Republican Congressional Committee just announced the greatest April fundraising haul ever.
That is why the latest Washington Examiner poll reports enthusiasm for Republican candidates in the 2022 midterm elections is ahead of enthusiasm for Democrats by double digits.
That is why the latest Democracy Corps poll of battleground states finds President Biden’s approval among independents at only 34%. Democrats win only 17% of independents in these swing states on a generic ballot.
That is why voters in Pennsylvania (a state that supposedly went to Biden) just overwhelmingly voted to dramatically limit the emergency powers of their Democratic governor.
That is why the latest CBS News/YouGov poll shows Republican support for former President Trump is still at historic levels, with 89% still supporting Trump’s economic views, 80% supporting Trump’s leadership style, 88% supporting Trump’s tough stance on immigration, 73% supporting Trump’s views on race, 77% agreeing with the way Trump treated the media and, most importantly, 67% believing Joe Biden is not the legitimate winner of the 2020 election.
That is why voters in the latest McLaughlin & Associates poll would favor Donald Trump over Vice President Kamala Harris 49% to 45% for the 2024 presidential election.
Biden has only been president for a little over 100 days. He supposedly got the most votes of any candidate in history. He should be wildly popular right now, considering we’re still in the “honeymoon phase” of his presidency. Instead, Americans have turned on him. Why?
First, Americans don’t believe Biden is the rightful president. The so-called Silent Majority believes, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that Biden and the Democrats rigged and stole the election. . .
New York to open vaccination pop-ups at airports for visitors, locals
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D) this week announced the addition of seven new pop-up vaccination sites at airports across the Empire State in an effort to increase the number of individuals vaccinated against COVID-19.
The vaccine sites, which will remain open from May 24 to May 28, will offer the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine on a first-come, first-serve basis, with no prior appointments required, according to a press release from Cuomo’s office.
The seven airports participating in the pop-up vaccine drive include JFK, LaGuardia and Albany, and non-New York residents traveling through can also walk in to sites to get the shot.
The governor said the state was launching the program following the success of its pop-up sites at MTA station stops throughout the New York City, Long Island and Mid-Hudson regions.
“Our vaccination pop-up sites have been instrumental in helping us reach more New Yorkers who need to get vaccinated, and given the success of our pilot program at subway and train stations across the MTA network, we are getting creative once more by bringing the vaccine to our airports,” Cuomo said in a statement on Thursday.
Singapore Closes Two Shopping Malls Amid Surge In Covid Cases
Singapore said it will conduct more targeted testing and surveillance operations to curb a coronavirus outbreak.
“Special ops” such as testing all residents in a particular housing apartment block, will help detect and isolate people early, including those who show few or no symptoms and would otherwise be missed, Health Minister Ong Ye Kung said in a Facebook post Sunday.
In recent weeks, the government has conducted special testing operations for clusters that broke out at airports, shopping malls and schools, extending free checks to tens of thousands of people. Two public housing blocks will have all residents tested after several cases were found in each of them, the government said Sunday.
Ron DeSantis Hits Bush’s Amnesty Coalition: GOP Must Reject Open Borders
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) hit back against former President George W. Bush’s amnesty coalition in veiled remarks on Friday, demanding that the Republican Party reject open borders and amnesty for illegal aliens.
N.J. Democrat Rep. Malinowski profits on COVID-related stocks, draws congressional ethics complaints
New Jersey Democratic Rep. Tom Malinowski said at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic now’s “not the time for anybody to be profiting off of selling ventilators, vaccines, drugs, treatments, PPE (personal protective equipment), anywhere in the world.”
However, records appear to show that he did.
“Since early 2020, Malinowski has bought or sold as much as $1 million of stock in medical and tech companies that had a stake in the virus response,” according to an analysis of transaction records by the Associated Press.
“The trades were just one slice of a stock buying and selling spree by the congressman during that time, worth as much as $3.2 million that he did not properly disclose,” the wire service also said.
Two complaints have been filed against Malinowski with the Office of Congressional Ethics.
The Stock Act, a law passed in 2012, is meant to prevent members of Congress from using inside information to make investment decisions and requires all stock trades be reported to Congress within 45 days.
Yet in the nearly 10 years since the law was enacted, nobody has been prosecuted under it even as many members continue to conspicuously trade,” according to the AP. . .
Texas Senate Passes Bill That Bans Critical Race Theory From Classrooms
The Texas state Senate passed a bill Saturday that prohibits schools from mandating the teaching of critical race theory (CRT). House Bill 3979 doesn’t mention CRT by name, but apparently aims to ban the controversial quasi-Marxist ideology in public and open-enrollment charter schools. According to the bill text, teachers, administrators, or employees from state agencies, school districts, and open-enrollment charter schools are prohibited from teaching students that one race is inherently superior to another race or sex or that an individual is inherently racist, sexist, or oppressive, by virtue of his or her race or sex. A teacher “may not [be] compelled to discuss current events or widely debated and currently controversial issues of public policy or social affairs” in social studies curriculum in Texas history, U.S. history, world history, government, civics, social studies, or similar subjects, according to the bill. . . .
For Japanese Americans imprisoned at Amache internment camp, lifetimes of silence and undeserved shame
Fifteen miles from the Kansas border, Prowers County Road 23½ comes to a dusty end, surrounded by sagebrush and prickly pear cacti and dead junipers. A place this newspaper called, eight decades ago, “as bleak a spot as one can find on the western plains.”
In one of the more shameful moments in American history, the federal government removed 120,000 Japanese Americans and Japanese nationals from their homes on the West Coast between 1942 and 1945 and imprisoned 10,000 over that timespan in far southeast Colorado, at a concentration camp it euphemistically named the Granada Relocation Center.
The inmates called it Amache.
“No charges were leveled against us. No trial, no hearings,” recalled Bob Fuchigami, who was 11 years old when he was imprisoned there. “We were loyal, patriotic, law-abiding citizens.”
The story of Amache is one of despair, desolation and, for 121 inmates, death. But it’s also a story about what came next, about a generation who rebuilt their lives and even thrived, all the while keeping quiet about the trauma they carried. It’s a story of bigotry and hate worth revisiting as the U.S. witnesses a new spike in anti-Asian violence and Colorado congressmen move to make Amache part of the National Park Service, preserving the site for generations to come.
“You try to make sense of what is being done to you and part of your thought process is to return to the idea that you deserved it somehow, even though you know you didn’t,” said Calvin Hada, an Amache descendant and president of the Nikkeijin Kai, or Japanese American Club, of Colorado.
“They were not saboteurs or fifth columnists or spies. They were just people trying to make a living.”

Prisoners at Camp Amache planted elms and cottonwoods, some of which remain today. . . .
Trump statement on Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich

– May 22, 2021 –
Statement by Donald J. Trump, 45th President of the United States of America
The lackluster Attorney General of Arizona, Mark Brnovich, has to get on the ball and catch up with the great Republican Patriots in the Arizona State Senate. As massive crime in the 2020 Election is becoming more and more evident and obvious, Brnovich is nowhere to be found. He is always on television promoting himself, but never mentions the Crime of the Century, that took place during the 2020 Presidential Election, which was Rigged and Stolen. Arizona was a big part and Brnovich must put himself in gear, or no Arizona Republican will vote for him in the upcoming elections. They will never forget, and neither will the great Patriots of our Nation!
Dept of Labor and OSHA Reverse Course, Will Not Enforce Employer Responsibility to Report COVID Vaccination Injuries
An interesting about-face from the Dept of Labor and OSHA. Previously OSHA stated that any employer who required vaccinations must report adverse reactions as workplace injuries. However, OSHA is now saying they will not “enforce” that record-keeping requirement until May of 2022.
Essentially, vaccine mandating employers don’t have to start recording vaccination reactions as workplace injuries for another year. This is a complete reversal from the OSHA position earlier this month. The rules have now been modified as below:
OSHA – “DOL and OSHA, as well as other federal agencies, are working diligently to encourage COVID-19 vaccinations. OSHA does not wish to have any appearance of discouraging workers from receiving COVID-19 vaccination, and also does not wish to disincentivize employers’ vaccination efforts. As a result, OSHA will not enforce 29 CFR 1904’s recording requirements to require any employers to record worker side effects from COVID-19 vaccination through May 2022. We will reevaluate the agency’s position at that time to determine the best course of action moving forward.” (LINK)
Notice the obtuse wording: “OSHA will not enforce” the recording requirement. So long as everyone sticks to “don’t ask/don’t tell” employers will no longer be penalized on their workplace injuries (OSHA log) and/or insurance rate from negative results of mandated, untested, non-FDA approved, vaccines.

Professor wants John Steinbeck’s estate to publish secret werewolf novel
Before John Steinbeck became a world-famous author and won the Nobel Prize for literature, he was just another struggling novelist experimenting with genres and piling up rejection slips.
Steinbeck ripped up two of his early novels but a third — a full-length werewolf mystery called “Murder at Full Moon” — has been brought to light by a British professor at Stanford University who wants the Steinbeck estate to publish it, the Guardian reported Saturday.
The 233-page manuscript, which Steinbeck wrote under the pen name Peter Pym, has been stuck in the archives of the Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas in Austin after Steinbeck failed to get it published in 1930.
“There would be a huge public interest in a totally unknown werewolf novel by one of the best-known, most read American writers of the 20th century,” said Professor Gavin Jones, a specialist in American literature at Stanford.
“This is a novel that really nobody knows about. It’s a complete novel by Steinbeck. It’s incredible.”
New COVID-19 cases plummet to lowest levels since last June
New coronavirus cases across the United States have tumbled to rates not seen in more than 11 months, sparking optimism that vaccination campaigns are stemming both severe COVID-19 cases and the spread of the virus.
As cases, hospitalizations and deaths steadily dropped this week, pre-pandemic life in America has largely resumed. Hugs and unmasked crowds returned to the White House, a Mardi Gras-style parade marched through Alabama’s port city of Mobile, and even states that have stuck to pandemic-related restrictions readied to drop them. However, health experts also cautioned that not enough Americans have been vaccinated to completely extinguish the virus, leaving the potential for new variants that could extend the pandemic.
As the seven-day average for new cases dropped below 30,000 per day this week, Rochelle Walensky, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, pointed out cases have not been this low since June 18, 2020. The average number of deaths over the last seven days also dropped to 552 — a rate not seen since July last year. It’s a dramatic drop since the pandemic hit a devastating crescendo in January.
“As each week passes and as we continue to see progress, these data give me hope,” Walensky said Friday at a news conference.
Health experts credit an efficient rollout of vaccines for the turnaround. More than 60% of people over 18 have received at least one shot, and almost half are fully vaccinated, according to the CDC. But demand for vaccines has dropped across much of the country. President Joe Biden’s administration is trying to convince other Americans to sign up for shots, using an upbeat message that vaccines offer a return to normal life.
White House health officials on Friday even waded into offering dating advice. They are teaming up with dating apps to offer a new reason to “swipe right” by featuring vaccination badges on profiles and in-app bonuses for people who have gotten their shots.
Ohio, New York, Oregon and other states are enticing people to get vaccinated through lottery prizes of up to $5 million.
Across the country, venues and events reopened after shuttering for much of the last year.
On Saturday, Karen Stetz readied to welcome what she hoped would be a good crowd to the Grosse Pointe Art Fair on Michigan’s Lake St. Clair.
With natural ventilation from the lake and mask and capacity restrictions easing, Stetz was optimistic that artists who make their living traveling a show circuit that ground to a halt last year would begin to bounce back. The event usually draws from 5,000 to 10,000 people.
SHOCKING VIDEO: Sunday School Teacher Arrested for Not Wearing Mask to School Board Meeting
A Sunday School teacher in New Hampshire was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on Thursday for not wearing a mask to a school board meeting.
Kate Bossi of Atkinson, New Hampshire, and several other parents had went to the meeting to demand that the Timberlane Regional School Board end their mask mandate.
Bossi’s arrest was filmed by her daughter Jackie Wydola.
The meeting was scheduled to take place at the Plaistow Performing Arts Center, but Chairwoman Kimberly Farah shut it down before it began.
“I didn’t want to jeopardize the health of the staff and the students,” Farah said, according to a report from the Union Leader.
Instead, police swarmed the building to arrest the concerned parents.
“You are violating my rights right now. You are remiss,” Bossi told Sgt. Alec Porter as she was being arrested.
Bossi’s daughter Wydola can be heard asking the officers, “are you seriously doing this you guys. This is law enforcement. You’re not enforcing laws, you’re enforcing policy. That doesn’t matter.”
“Come on Sgt. Porter, you know this is wrong what they’re doing to our kids,” one man can be heard shouting during the arrest.

‘1619 Project’ Has No Place in South Dakota, Kristi Noem Says
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem has voiced stern opposition to teaching the “1619 Project” curriculum in the state’s schools. Noem, a Republican, took to Twitter on Friday to criticize the “1619 Project,” saying it “claims that America was founded on racism and slavery, not on an ideal of equality. It seeks to incorrectly re-frame the […]

CNN Drops Rick Santorum After Dismissive Comments About Native Americans
Rick Santorum, the former Pennsylvania senator and Republican presidential candidate, has been dropped from his role as a CNN political commentator amid controversy over recent remarks in which he seemed to erase the role of Native Americans in U.S. history.
Matt Dornic, head of strategic communications at CNN, confirmed in an email on Saturday that the network had “parted ways” with the former senator.
Mr. Santorum’s departure from CNN came after comments he made about Native Americans at a Young America’s Foundation event last month.
“We birthed a nation from nothing — I mean, there was nothing here,” Mr. Santorum said at the event. “I mean, yes, we have Native Americans, but candidly, there isn’t much Native American culture in American culture.”
Days after the event, Mr. Santorum walked back his comments on CNN’s “Cuomo Prime Time.”
“I misspoke,” Mr. Santorum told the program’s host, Chris Cuomo. “I was talking about the founding of our country. I had given a long talk about the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence and the ideas behind those, and that I was saying we sort of created that anew, if you will. And I was not trying to dismiss Native Americans.”
In a statement on Saturday, Mr. Santorum said: “When I signed on with CNN, I understood that I would be providing commentary that is not regularly heard by the typical CNN viewer. I greatly appreciate the opportunity CNN provided me over the past four years and I am committed to continuing the fight for our conservative principles and values.”
Fake News Is Real & Extremely Harmful To The Public | “How the BBC lied and lied about the MoS scoop which exposed the forged bank statements”
How the BBC lied and lied about the MoS scoop which exposed the forged bank statements that first nailed Martin Bashir
- In 1996 Mail on Sunday journalist Nick Fielding received a call claiming Panorama’s Martin Bashir had used deception to gain access to Princess Diana
- Behind the scenes BBC executives repeatedly quizzed Bashir who categorically denied he showed forged documents to Earl Spencer to land the interview
- On the fourth time of asking on March 23, 1996, Bashir admitted he had used the documents but BBC management mounted a cover-up which lasted for 25 years
Antisemitism and attacks on Jews fueled by social media, experts say
A spate of anti-semitic attacks are being fueled by social media, where Jew-hating content can often whip around the world without fear or fact-check, experts and activists say.
“Anti-Semitism is a conspiracy theory and there is no more fertile ground for the rapid spread of conspiracy theories than social media because nobody has to fact check anything,” Blake Flayton, founder of the nonprofit New Zionist Congress, told The Post.
“If [Nazi propagandist Joseph] Goebbels were alive today he would be a kid in a candy store,” Flayton added. “The lies are much more egregious because of their ability to spread so much faster and reach so many more people.”
False claims that Israel torched East Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque, as well as inflammatory statements from a fake Israeli Defense Forces Twitter account, are just a few which have spread wildly across the web in recent days.

Coming To A School Near You | Child Slapped For Allowing Mask To Fall Below Her Nose
As more American adults hand over their rights to government officials, they are slowly but surely handing over their children, also. The spread of any disease should not be taken lightly. The greatest disease we face today is fear. It’s clouding our judgement and annihilating our goodness. Watch as a Colorado bus driver slaps a girl so hard her head hits the seat for putting her mask down below her nose. Wearing a mask makes her feel sick.
Always Follow The Money | “TEXAS: Abbott, Patrick, House Speaker Received $250K+ From Clinic That Chemically Castrates ‘Transgender’ Kids”

Campaign finance records reveal that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, and House Speaker Dade Phelan received hundreds of thousands of dollars from a PAC for a clinic that offers hormone treatment to allegedly transgender children.
UT Southwestern Medical Center hosts the Gender Education and Care Interdisciplinary Support (GENECIS) program, which is the “first and largest program in the southwest that provides multidisciplinary care to transgender children and adolescents.” While the program does not offer surgery to children, it does offer a number of so-called “treatments” that may amount to chemical castration, including hormone therapy, menstruation suppression, and puberty suppression.
“Our team has impacted thousands of youth across the country and is a vital resource for patients, families and communities,” their website reads. “We support youth of all gender expressions and identities, and provide evidence-based, gender-affirming care in a supportive and safe environment,” it continues, claiming that “gender identity is unique for every child and may be different from the sex assigned to them at birth.”
Campaign finance records show that the Friends of UT Southwestern Center, also known as FOMCPAC, handed out well over $250,000 in total to a number of top Texas politicians who were recently involved in shutting down multiple pieces of legislation that would have prevented hormone treatment and surgery from being provided to supposed transgender children in the state.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott, who National File has been told led the charges against the bills designed to protect children, received $85,000 from the transgender clinic PAC since 2015. His Lieutenant Governor, Dan Patrick, received the lion’s share from FOMCPAC however, taking over $120,000 since 2015. Newly-elected House Speaker Dade Phelan was given $50,000 in the 2020 cycle by the clinic’s PAC. Similarly, Rep. Stephanie Klick, who was in a position to block these bills in her role as the Chair of the House Health Committee, received $4,000 from FOMCPAC since 2015.
According to Tracy Shannon, the Director of the Texas Mass Resistance activist group, Phelan’s decision to declare a recess yesterday effectively kills S.B. 1311’s chances of passing. S.B. 1311 would have stripped liability insurance for doctors who engage in transgender surgeries or chemical castrations for kids. . .

BREAKING, Judge Orders Physical Review of Fulton County Ballots – Expert Witness Testified High Percentage Discrepancy in Ballot Batches
There are approximately ten plaintiffs in an ongoing lawsuit about the election and ballot tabulation in Fulton County (Atlanta), Georgia. The state and local officials had been denying access to the physical ballots, only permitting a review of low resolution scanned images. However, an expert testified a disparity of approximately 21% (of those “low resolution” […]

The New York Times Exposes and Cuts Ties With Fusion GPS
Commentary :
On Saturday, The New York Times published an article adapted from a forthcoming book by investigative journalist Barry Meier.
The excerpt from the book titled “Spooked: The Trump Dossier, Black Cube, And The Rise of Private Spies,” contains some damning and explosive revelations for people who’ve followed the twists and turns of the Spygate scandal for five years now.
As the title of the book reveals, Meier digs deep into the machinations of the private intelligence firm Fusion GPS and the large role it played in creating the Steele dossier and then shopping it to the news media prior to the 2016 election.
Fusion’s founders, former Wall Street Journal reporters Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch, were intimately involved in Spygate from the very beginning. No one can look into the Trump/Russia collusion story without encountering their fingerprints on just about everything. Therefore, what Meier has done in writing this book might be old news to those who have followed this story for years, but for most of the American public, this book is going to be an explosive read. . .
Physicians Group Files Motion to Halt Use of COVID Vaccines in Children
America’s Frontline Doctors (AFLDS) Wednesday filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama requesting a temporary restraining order against the Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) permitting using the COVID-19 vaccines in children under the age of 16, and that no further expansion of the EUAs to children under the age of 16 be granted prior to the resolution of these issues at trial.
The case will challenge the EUAs for the injections on several counts, based on the law and scientific evidence that the EUAs should never have been granted, the EUAs should be revoked immediately, the injections are dangerous biological agents that have the potential to cause substantially greater harm than the COVID-19 disease itself, and that numerous laws have been broken in the process of granting these EUAs and foisting these injections on the American people.
AFLDS Founder Dr. Simone Gold spoke about the reasons for filing the motion: “We doctors are pro-vaccine, but this is not a vaccine,” she said. “This is an experimental biological agent whose harms are well-documented (although suppressed and censored) and growing rapidly, and we will not support using America’s children as guinea pigs.”
She continued:
“We insist that the EUA not be relinquished prematurely; certainly not before trials are complete — Oct. 31, 2022 for Moderna and April 27, 2023 for Pfizer. We are shocked at the mere discussion of this, and will not be silent while Americans are used as guinea pigs for a virus with survivability of 99.8% globally and 99.97% under age 70.
“Under age 20 it is 99.997% — ‘statistical zero.’
“There are 104 children age 0-17 who died from COVID-19 and 287 from COVID + Influenza – out of ~72 million. This equals zero risk. And we doctors won’t stand for children being offered something they do not need and of whom some unknown percentage will suffer.”
AFLDS Pediatric Director Dr. Angie Farella explained: “My greatest concern with the vaccination of children under the age of 18 is the fact that there is no prior study of these individuals before Dec. of 2020.”
She went on to say: “Children were not included in the trials, and the adult trials do not have any long-term safety data currently available.”
AFLDS Legal Director Ali Shultz commented on AFLDS’ filing:
“Not many people could have taken this on. Dr. Simone Gold is a doctor, and a lawyer and a fierce warrior who will stop at nothing to protect humanity.
“She has a certain finesse in developing the right team to see this medical/legal mission through.”
Read the motion and all supporting documents.

Cuba: Artist Named Prisoner of Conscience
On 2 May, Cuban state security officials took artist Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara from his home and to a hospital, while he was hunger-striking in protest over the confiscation of artwork from his home around the 22 April. Luis Manuel is a key figure in the San Isidro Movement, a diverse group of independent artists, journalists and activists that defend freedom of expression in Cuba. He is a prisoner of conscience, detained solely because of peacefully expressing his ideas, and should be released immediately and unconditionally.
Dozens Arrested After Conflict in Gaza Leads to Clashes in Times Square

Several New York City elected officials on Friday denounced clashes that took place between pro-Israeli and pro-Palestinian protesters in Midtown Manhattan, leading to more than two dozen arrests and at least two people being hospitalized.
The clashes on Thursday afternoon and evening began in Times Square and spread to the Diamond District, a small neighborhood south of Rockefeller Center that is home to many Jewish-owned businesses, as Israel and Hamas agreed to a cease-fire after days of fighting that killed more than 230 people in Gaza and 12 in Israel.
By midday Friday, 27 people in the city had been arrested on charges including disorderly conduct and unlawful assembly, the police said.
Videos taken from the scene and shared on social media showed fights breaking out among small groups, with people throwing punches and stealing Israeli flags from demonstrators as jeers were exchanged. It was unclear what incited several of the individual clashes or who had started them, the police said. . .
